Ambitious.Africa X Women’s Bank: Financial literacy webinar for young women

Ambitious.Africa is organizing a webinar dedicated to financial literacy for young women, in collaboration with Women’s Bank, the community and fund managed by Finn Church Aid, the largest organization for international aid in Finland.

As countries around Africa integrate women’s economic independence into gender equality, financial literacy is of paramount importance.

Pursuing a cause that cuts across the gender divide, Ambitious.Africa, working in collaboration with Women’s Bank (Naistenpankki), will host its first-ever webinar on women’s financial literacy and financial inclusion.

Slated for Sunday, December 5, 2021, the webinar will be moderated by finance savvy young women: Iida Pulliainen, Anniina Parkkinen, Katariina Komulainen, Margherita Biffi, and Stacy Morris.

This two-hour-long Zoom meeting will commence at 16:00 GMT+2, and will, among other essential topics, discuss saving and budgeting, the need for women’s financial independence, and credit i.e. student loans, mortgages, and other debts.

On the whole, Ambitious.Africa aims to use this webinar to teach women different aspects of financial management and wealth creation in an increasingly commercial world.

The hope is that all women attendees will understand the importance of being financially literate and independent. The webinar will also feature segments of financial self-assessments and a success story.

All in all, women looking for an introduction or a boost in managing their finances and investments will be helped to become more financially literate and take charge of their financial future with confidence. We hope to see you there!
